Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no; it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests, and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error, and upon me prov’d,
I never writ, nor no man ever lov’d.
Don’t even think that you could convince me there’s no true love.
Love is not love, if it changes when faced with changes, or vanish when the object is no longer.
So what is love?
It is a beacon in the middle of the sea, which looks on tempests and is never shaken.
It is the star that guides every wandering boat – we may not know its worth, but we know it’s up in the sky.
Love doesn’t bow down even to Time, who could only rob us of our rosy lips and cheeks. No, love never changes, but would endure until the end of time.
If you can disprove what I’ve just said, then that could mean only two things: that my words are worth nothing, and no one in the world has ever loved.
So today I was in Hallmark buying my mom a Happy Birthday card when I noticed this old man stnding in front of the Valentines card section contemplating which one to get. I decide to go over and I ask him “Are you getting a Valentine’s Day for your wife?” in which he replies ‘No my wife died 3 years ago from breast cancer but I still buy her roses and a card and bring them to her grave to prove to her that she was the only one that will ever have my heart’.

what a beautiful story
my opinion:
“It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.”
“Whose” refers to “the star’s”.
The star is on the sky and far away from us. It guides boats, but no one knows where the destination is. So, it has unknown value to us. Its height and power, however, are higher and larger than we can imagine.
As the star, love guides us for a period of time in our lives, but, again, no one knows where the destination is, or how far we can go, or the consequence of falling in love. But, love is sacred and ever-lasting. Its power and intensity are beyond our imagination.
so lovely, so sweet, so strong, and so true.
“you will not make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. you won’t be a vice president with a car phone, untile you earn both.”
Whose worth’s unknown although his height be taken
